The BSNL Mega Listing - valued at a whopping Rs. 200,000 Cr.

While rumours and then informal discussions of BSNL’s listing have been around since January – the company’s board has finally made the decision to go ahead with the mega listing, although concrete dates still haven’t been announced. While reports January rumored that the listing would value the company at Rs. 400,000 Cr. or $100 bn (at that time everybody was talking ridiculous numbers, though do remember that BSNL does have the very valuable pan India 3G license) we’re now looking at a valuation of between 150,000-200,000 Cr.
